Drawing Post #1 Aug-Sept
A Quarter a Day...
- A full-value drawing of my hand with a quarter resting on my palm. I used a quarter because Mrs. Rojas told me to use an object that you wont forget, so I whipped out my wallet and the first thing I saw was a quarter.
The Gentle Giant
- The Guaba is one of the most terrifying looking arthropods in the world, and most can people agree. This drawing was a inspiration for me to make the guaba have a good-rep, so I drew it with a small companion; a ladybug for the gentle giant.
Snail in the Rain
- In my childhood when it rained I used to go outside and see the slugs and snails going about their day. I lived on the countryside and enjoyed walking around the forest and seeing any small creature I could spot. That was my inspiration of drawing this.
Stealing the Moon
- This is a negative space drawing of my hand while holding a quarter, but by the lack of details present in a negative space drawing. you can imagine that I could be holding anything in that moment.
Head or Tails?
- Here is a contour-line drawing of my hand holding a quarter as if I'm going to flick it. I wonder if it's gonna be heads or tails?
